MY EYE Hospital, started in 1997 by Dr. Chandrakant Gaonkar and Dr.(mrs) Madhavi C. Gaonkar both eye surgeons. As a first step towards comprehensive eye care under one roof, the first of its kind in the beautiful state of goa. Started surgery for cataract in 1998 with machine from optika (Italy) With addition of new technology and equipments every year, today we are in a position to provide superspecialized services covering most eye diseases.

Before setting up My Eye hospital, Dr. Chandrakant Gaonkar worked as an associate professor of opthalmology and unit chief in kasturba medical college in Manipal, Karnataka.

Madhavi who has completed a fellowship from Dr. Pran Nagpals Retina foundation in Ahmedabad, worked as an assistant professor of othalmology, in the same college and as a consultant in the Bombay city eye institute.
